Robert S. Elgin
Robert Elgin graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1982 and with an M.A. in Economics from George Mason University in 1987. He joined the Legal Services Corporation as an economist in 1987, under the Reagan Administration and assisted in the controversial and ultimately unsuccessful attempt to return the Corporation to its original limited mission.
Since 1991 he has worked in the private sector as a highly successful economist and structured settlement analyst. He has published a number of papers on the economics of bureaucracy and has presented papers on public choice and law and economics at scholarly conferences. He is dedicated to the support of individual liberty, limited government and the rule of law.
