"This book is long overdue. Unhealthy Charities exposes some of America's largest nonprofit institutions for what they really are - misguided, mismanaged, and totally ignorant about what their philanthropic mission ought to be: to help those in need. Everyone should read this book and reflect on its implications for the health care debate. If health charities don't change they way they do business, they may become a thing of the past."
